About the Role We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in custom application development, platform configuration, integrations, security, and automation. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and enhancements • Build and maintain custom applications using App Engine Studio and scoped applications • Develop server-side scripts, including Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scripted REST APIs • Implement automation using Flow Designer, reusable actions, and subflows • Configure Configurable Workspace, UI Builder, UI Policies, and Client Scripts • Develop and support REST API integrations and JSON-based data exchanges • Implement ACLs, role-based access controls, and platform security standards • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and support platform upgrades • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments • Conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and mentor other developers Requirements • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience • 3+ years of experience with App Engine Studio and custom application development • 3+ years of experience working in Agile or sprint-based delivery environments • Strong knowledge of GlideRecord, query optimization, and transactional logic • Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Scripted REST APIs • Knowledge of ACL design, role hierarchy, and platform governance • Experience with Configurable Workspace, UI Builder, and Platform Analytics • Strong communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) • ITIL 4 Foundation certification or equivalent ITSM experience
