About the Role We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team at the State of Georgia. This role focuses on enterprise platform development, custom applications, integrations, and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities • Build and support custom applications using App Engine Studio • Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, JSON, and Integration Hub • Implement platform governance including naming conventions and security standards • Provide technical leadership through code reviews and developer mentoring • Optimize platform performance using advanced query optimization and transactional logic Requirements • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments • 3+ years of experience building and supporting custom applications • 3+ years of experience working in Agile or sprint-based environments • Mandatory Federal Experience • Mandatory Certifications: ServiceNow CSA and ServiceNow CAD • Preferred Certification: ITIL 4 Foundation • Strong understanding of server-side scripting, including Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scripted REST APIs • Experience with GlideRecord for advanced query optimization and transactional logic • Proficiency in Flow Designer for reusable actions, subflows, and automation workflows • Knowledge of Access Controls, including ACL design, role hierarchy, and platform security • Experience with Workspace Development and User Interface Configuration • Ability to work with Platform Analytics, including indicators, breakdowns, and dashboards Note: H1B candidates are not accepted.
