About the Role We are seeking a Snowflake Platform/Database Engineer for a 6-12 month contract-to-hire position. This role requires local presence in Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL and focuses on Snowflake platform engineering and administration. Key Responsibilities • Administer and maintain the Snowflake platform • Implement and manage data warehousing solutions • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or SQL • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible • Ensure platform resiliency, disaster recovery, and backup strategies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment Requirements • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of relevant experience in data platform, cloud, or database engineering • Deep expertise in Snowflake platform engineering and administration • Strong foundation in data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling • Experience with cloud platforms, AWS preferred • Proficiency in Python and/or Bash/SQL scripting for automation • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Bitbucket • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible • Strong understanding of platform resiliency, disaster recovery, and backup strategies • Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
