About the Role We are looking for a Software Developer specializing in IBM i/RPG to join our team. This role involves working with legacy systems and modernizing applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain applications using RPG programming language • Work with DB2 and SQL Server databases • Implement software engineering best practices • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes • Modernize and maintain legacy RPG applications • Integrate IBM iSeries backend systems with modern web applications • Work with high-volume DB2 datasets and data integration Requirements • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with IBM iSeries (AS/400) • Demonstrated proficiency in RPG programming language • Working knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server databases • Experience with software engineering best practices • Understanding of SDLC methodologies • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated software testing • Ability to integrate IBM iSeries backend systems with modern web applications • Experience working with high-volume DB2 datasets • Strong understanding of application reliability, maintainability, and performance • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
