About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineer, Machine Learning to join Meta. This role focuses on building AI systems that impact billions of people daily across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, and Meta Quest. Key Responsibilities • Research, design, and deploy scalable deep learning models in Generative AI, Recommendations, NLP, Computer Vision, and Ranking. • Build robust end-to-end ML pipelines, feature stores, and real-time inference infrastructure. • Optimize algorithms for high-throughput, low-latency environments serving global scale datasets. Requirements • Strong foundation in C++, Python, or Java with deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design. • 2+ years applying ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX) to production problems. • Degree in CS, AI, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field (MS/PhD preferred).
