About the Role We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst with strong application development, database, and systems analysis experience to join the Florida Department. This role requires technical leadership and expertise in developing complex financial applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop and support complex financial business applications • Lead technical development and provide subject matter expertise • Guide quality assurance activities across development, testing, staging, and production • Troubleshoot application and database issues • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions • Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams Requirements • 7+ years as a Lead Developer or Development Manager • 5+ years of experience with development technologies • Strong SQL and relational database expertise • Experience with Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or comparable databases • Experience developing and maintaining complex financial applications • Strong systems analysis, troubleshooting, and requirements analysis skills • Experience leading development teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience
