About the Role Amtrak is seeking a senior architecture expert to join their team, focusing on systems design and modernization. Key Responsibilities • Lead enterprise architecture and portfolio-wide modernization efforts • Implement mainframe/TPF modernization, Java, Spring, APIs, and Microservices • Design event-driven architecture and system integration solutions • Apply SAFe methodology and participate in PI Planning • Provide stakeholder leadership Requirements • 15+ years of IT experience • Expertise in enterprise architecture and modernization • Strong knowledge of mainframe/TPF modernization, Java, Spring, APIs, and Microservices • Experience with event-driven architecture and system integration • Familiarity with SAFe, PI Planning, and stakeholder leadership • Ex-Amtrak or railroad domain experience strongly preferred
