About the Role Our client is seeking a SQL Server / Cloud DBA to join the Tolling Engineering and Operations Team to administer and support SQL Server and cloud databases in the Tolling group. The role includes help desk and application support responsibilities. Key Responsibilities • Administer and support SQL Server and cloud databases in the Tolling group • Provide help desk and application support as part of rotation with the Tolling team • Upgrade E-ZPass tolling database • Install, upgrade, patch, and migrate SQL Server databases • Tune SQL Server performance • Diagnose and resolve deadlocks and blocking in Tolling production workloads • Tune Very Large Databases (2 TB+) including index optimization and workload analysis • Work with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS • Code and debug Transact SQL • Administer databases on Azure Cloud, Snowflake, and/or Databricks Requirements • 2 years of experience upgrading E-ZPass tolling database • 6 years of experience with MS SQL Server Database Management • 4 years of experience in installing, upgrading, patching, and migrating SQL Server databases • 3 years of experience with SQL Server Tuning • 3 years of experience diagnosing and resolving deadlocks and blocking in Tolling production workloads • 2 years of experience tuning Very Large Databases (2 TB+) • 3 years of experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS • 1 year of experience coding and debugging Transact SQL • 1 year of experience with DB Administration on Azure Cloud, Snowflake, and/or Databricks
