About the Role We are seeking a Webmethods Integration Architect to design and implement enterprise integration solutions. This role requires extensive experience with webMethods architecture and development. Key Responsibilities • Architect and design enterprise integration solutions using webMethods • Define integration patterns including REST/SOAP, event-driven, B2B/EDI, file and batch • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for webMethods packages and APIs • Automate build, test, deployment, and promotion across Dev, QA, and Prod • Establish branching strategies, code review practices, and release governance • Manage API lifecycle, security (OAuth, JWT, SSL), and policy enforcement • Lead migration or upgrade efforts (e.g., on-prem to cloud or containers) • Review designs and code, and mentor developers and DevOps engineers • Troubleshoot performance, stability, and production issues • Document architecture, standards, and runbooks Requirements • 12+ years in IT, with 10+ years in webMethods architecture and development • Strong knowledge of webMethods Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, and Broker/MWS • 5+ years of hands-on GitLab CI/CD experience • Experience automating webMethods deployments • Scripting skills in Shell, Python, or PowerShell • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code • Solid understanding of API design, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
