About the Role MSMNET Security is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and secure their existing website. This is a remote, as-needed contractor opportunity. Key Responsibilities • Maintain and troubleshoot WordPress website • Perform core, theme, and plugin updates • Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities • Optimize website performance and reliability • Manage backups, recovery, and security hardening • Troubleshoot hosting, database, and configuration issues Requirements • 7+ years of WordPress development experience • Strong PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL skills • Proven WordPress security and troubleshooting expertise • Familiarity with hosting, DNS, SSL, and website optimization • Independent, responsive, and dependable
