About the Role We are looking for a WordPress Front-End Developer with a focus on accessibility to join our team. This role involves developing and remediating WordPress themes and content to meet WCAG standards. Key Responsibilities • Develop WordPress themes and child-themes using PHP, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript • Implement WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility standards • Ensure proper ARIA implementation, keyboard navigation, focus management, and color contrast • Test accessibility using tools like axe, WAVE, and screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) Requirements • 6–8 years of front-end development experience • 2+ years of hands-on accessibility remediation • Experience with WordPress theme/child-theme and Gutenberg development • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA remediation • Familiarity with ARIA, keyboard navigation, focus management, and color contrast • Experience with testing tools like axe, WAVE, and screen readers
