About the Role
The Privacy Operations Manager will serve as the primary contact for internal privacy inquiries and support the 2U Privacy Team in executing strategic initiatives related to international privacy and data protection. This role involves managing privacy projects, overseeing data subject rights programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage internal privacy queries as the first point of contact for 2U staff
- →Document and manage key privacy implementation projects, including annual updates to privacy notices
- →Oversee the end-to-end process for handling Data Subject Requests (DSARs)
- →Collaborate with Procurement and Legal teams for vendor due diligence
- →Maintain detailed privacy documentation, including data mapping and Records of Processing Activities
- →Execute 2U’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Awareness programs
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree required
- ✓5+ years experience as a Project Manager
- ✓2+ years working on privacy or technology issues
- ✓Experience managing multiple projects and relationships
- ✓Familiarity with Salesforce, AWS, Jira, GitHub, and similar systems
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
