About the Role

We are looking for a Compliance Manager to join our team at OKX, a leading crypto exchange. This role is critical in ensuring that remediation efforts lead to the development of robust, sustainable controls. You will act as a translator between Compliance teams and Product/Engineering teams, ensuring that every compliance issue results in a strengthened control environment.

Key Responsibilities

→Remediation Design & Advisory: Partner with business units to design long-term controls that address root causes.
→Control Mapping & Integration: Ensure remediation action plans are mapped to the Global Compliance Control Library.
→Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead deep-dive RCA sessions for complex issues.
→Organizational Alignment: Work with the Issue Management team to ensure effective control validation.
→Optimization: Manage the technical linkage between Issue Management tickets and the GRC platform.
→Control Validation Testing: Design testing scripts to validate new controls.
→Thematic Reporting: Identify trends across issues to suggest control improvements.
→Control Design & Consulting: Partner with the business to build Key Compliance Controls.
→Control Library Maintenance: Manage the Source of Truth for compliance controls.
→Design Effectiveness (DE) Assessment: Review controls before implementation.
→Operating Effectiveness (OE) Testing: Perform sample testing to validate controls.

Requirements

✓7+ years of experience in AML, Sanctions, or Financial Crime compliance.
✓Expert-level ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on AML system failures.
✓Hands-on experience managing a Global Compliance Control Library within GRC platforms.
✓Proficiency in designing Operating Effectiveness (OE) testing scripts.
✓Cross-functional collaboration skills.
✓Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
✓CAMS or CRCM certification is highly preferred.
✓Experience in high-growth FinTech or complex global banking.
