About the Role
Ensures accurate and consistent coding of medical data from global clinical trials across all therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as primary coding resource for assigned studies and as subject matter expert to study team members and stakeholders.
- →Accurately code clinical trial data using MedDRA and WHODrug in accordance with company conventions.
- →Perform all Clinical Coding Team workflow requirements through the life of the trial.
- →Support the identification of prohibited medications and other exclusionary data.
- →Contribute to the development of projects and goals.
- →Represent the Clinical Coding Team when collaborating with study team members and stakeholders.
- →Participate in the development and maintenance of coding conventions, Standard Operating Procedures, Guidelines, and Work Instruction documents.
- →Complete dictionary upversioning workflow activities.
- →Support departmental and cross-functional business requirements.
- →Serve as a mentor and coach to new and less experienced coders.
