About the Role
Action Property Management is seeking a Temporary General Manager for the El Cortez property in San Diego. This onsite role involves serving as an expert consultant to the Association and Board of Directors, with a focus on California HOA law and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as expert consultant on California Common Interest Development law and high-rise requirements
- →Advise on Davis Stirling Common Interest Development Act and Civil Codes for non-compliance issues
- →Hire, train, and motivate staff to exceed resident expectations
- →Manage budgets, audits, reserve studies, and bidding processes
- →Ensure timely follow-up on all issues and work independently
Requirements
- ✓3-5 years of onsite or dedicated HOA management experience preferred
- ✓CMCA certification or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire
- ✓Keen knowledge of budgets and budgeting processes
- ✓Strong knowledge of audits, reserve studies, bidding process, and Association governing documents
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Effective presentation skills
- ✓Exceptional time management skills and ability to work independently
- ✓Commitment to timely follow-up on all issues
