About the Role
We are looking for a Contracting and Operations Manager to lead internal contract operational processes and support the execution of value-based care contracts with health plans. This role focuses on managing contracting projects, tracking contracts, and developing team processes to help primary care providers transition to value-based care.
Key Responsibilities
- →Oversee and manage contracting projects related to developing and executing contracts
- →Draft financial and legal contract summaries
- →Partner with cross-functional teams to share information and obtain buy-in for new contracts
- →Track and report on new and existing contracts
- →Manage and develop team processes and tools to ensure alignment
- →Maintain the internal source of truth for all contracts and terms
- →Support team leads on data collection and analysis projects
- →Perform payer contracting process support activities including scheduling meetings and managing documents
- →Design and maintain processes including tracking renewals and optimizing workflows
- →Lead post-signing contract handoff processes and create contract summaries
- →Conduct contract language analysis, data analysis, and policy analysis
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in healthcare with health plans or providers
- ✓Understanding of the health plan contracting process from initial conversations through launch
- ✓Strong project and process management skills
- ✓Ability to own processes from start-to-finish and independently engage stakeholders
- ✓Proven success working in a team-oriented matrixed environment with ability to influence all levels
- ✓Results-oriented with ability to balance wide variety of responsibilities
- ✓Proven track record of creating and maintaining customer relationships
- ✓Effective communication skills with colleagues and external parties
- ✓Passion for driving the shift from fee-for-service to value-based care
