About the Role
Applaudo is seeking a Public Sector Sales Consultant to drive business growth within the government sector. This role involves identifying opportunities, managing high-value accounts, and leading sales processes for complex digital transformation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify, qualify, and develop business opportunities within the government sector
- →Establish and maintain trusted relationships with government decision-makers
- →Design and present tailored software and cloud-based solutions for public sector needs
- →Lead contractual negotiations ensuring compliance with regulations
- →Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets for the government sector
- →Manage and expand existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling
- →Coordinate with internal teams for seamless solution delivery
- →Maintain knowledge of government policies and procurement processes
- →Analyze market trends to strengthen company positioning
- →Prepare and deliver periodic sales performance reports
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
- ✓Master’s degree in Business, Technology Management, or Public Administration preferred
- ✓5 to 7 years of proven experience in consultative sales to the public sector (B2G)
- ✓Track record of managing high-value government accounts and leading procurement processes
- ✓Experience presenting and selling complex digital transformation solutions
- ✓Advanced negotiation and persuasion skills for high-value contracts
- ✓Strong communication skills for presenting to senior government officials
- ✓Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- ✓Relationship management and stakeholder engagement at executive levels
- ✓Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities
- ✓Strong business acumen and understanding of public sector dynamics
- ✓In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud, AWS or Azure products and services
- ✓Expertise in public procurement processes and government technology adoption
- ✓Ability to design tailored value propositions for the public sector
- ✓Skills in competitive analysis and market positioning strategies
- ✓English Full Professional Proficiency
