About the Role
We are looking for an HR Specialist to join AvePoint's People Team. This entry-level role provides structured exposure to various HR functional areas including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and People Operations, with a focus on HR Business Partnering.
Key Responsibilities
- →Execute HRBP team operations and initiatives, supporting People processes like onboarding, performance reviews, and compensation reviews
- →Own employee experience from day one, maintaining a strong pulse on engagement and career development
- →Partner with hiring managers to craft effective onboarding plans
- →Lead internal mobility initiatives that foster growth and development
- →Manage the Summer intern program from onboarding through the summer
- →Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, helping develop new policies
- →Serve as a connective tissue between HRBPs and Centers of Excellence
- →Synthesize complex workforce data into manager-ready deliverables
- →Author internal communications and instructional guides
- →Drive project momentum by tracking action items
- →Maintain data quality through proactive audits
- →Perform analysis of People metrics to flag emerging themes
- →Identify and implement process improvements
- →Support end-to-end people programs across the employee lifecycle
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- ✓3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, Talent, or related coordination/support role
- ✓Strong communication (written and verbal), problem-solving, and follow-through skills
- ✓Growth mindset: curious, coachable, proactive
- ✓Analytical comfort: Excel basics, data interpretation, attention to detail
- ✓Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information
- ✓Demonstrated reliability and accountability
- ✓Examples of improving a process, writing documentation, or supporting stakeholders
