About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team at AvePoint, a global leader in data security, governance, and resilience. This role involves managing your own book of business in a collaborative sales environment, driving the identification and qualification of opportunities, and developing and executing account plans to generate software license, maintenance, and services revenues.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop new prospects and expand existing accounts
- →Use consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offer insights on IT needs fulfilled by our solutions
- →Use competitive analysis to educate customers on the value of our solutions
- →Pursue quota goals by working directly with customers during negotiations
- →Work with a virtual account team to deploy the customer engagement lifecycle
- →Attend and participate in customer team meetings and communicate regularly with professional services and engineering staff
- →Leverage existing industry partnerships to grow AvePoint’s presence in your region
- →Handle post-sales support issues for customers
Requirements
- ✓University degree or equivalent experience
- ✓5+ years of enterprise software sales experience
- ✓Exposure to virtual account team selling environment
- ✓Executive level relationship selling experience
- ✓General familiarity with selling methodologies and processes
