About the Role
We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee all production operations and staff. This role involves supervising production managers and staff, implementing new technologies, and ensuring production meets budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Supervise all production managers and production staff
- →Introduce new technology for production operations
- →Oversee all activities in production
- →Ensure production achieves allocated budgets
- →Oversee planning and scheduling of weekly/monthly production
- →Ensure quality standards are complied with in production
- →Oversee and ensure sufficient material and machine spare parts are available
- →Ensure all systems and procedures are followed
- →Improve and introduce cost-saving methods
- →Handle grievances of all staff in the production department
- →Ensure all machinery are in good condition
- →Review performance of all staff in production by year end
- →Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance is carried out
- →Recruit, select, train, and develop staff according to HR plan
- →Ensure samples are done according to specifications
- →Ensure quotations given are correct and competitive
- →Decision Making Authority
- →Wide discretion to make decisions within the production department subject to company policies and procedures. Ability to influence decisions at a higher level.
- →Working Relationships
- →Internal: With all production staff, heads of other departments, and the General Manager
- →External: With service providers, suppliers, others in the textile, printing industry, production engineering trade, customers, production heads, and technical people in other Avery sites.
