About the Role

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies and establish relationships with customers. This field-based role will focus on ensuring the successful sale of Axsome products while engaging with customers in clinic or hospital settings and through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve quarterly and annual goals
→Promote products within approved labeling guidelines, ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance
→Build strong customer relationships by understanding and addressing customer needs
→Serve as a resource for customers and staff regarding payer policies and processes
→Maximize marketing resources to grow customer confidence in prescribing Axsome medications
→Communicate territory activity accurately and timely to management
→Provide feedback to sales and commercial leadership about changing market conditions
→Complete all training classes and administrative duties in a timely manner
→Manage promotional budget effectively
→Collaborate across corporate functions and attend medical congresses as needed
→Ensure patient access through services and savings programs
→Travel overnight as business needs require

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
✓Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management
✓Minimum of 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with relevant CNS experience
✓5 years of consistent top performance in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales
✓Migraine/CNS experience preferred
✓Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding results
✓Launch experience preferred
✓Must reside in the territory's geography
✓Experience strategizing within cross-functional teams
✓Ability to manage multiple tasks under aggressive timelines
✓Patient support services experience a plus
✓Strong digital marketing aptitude
✓Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
✓Physical requirements including frequent driving, prolonged sitting/standing, and lifting up to 30lbs
