About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to own the core of Square’s premium business credit card product. This role focuses on the intersection of expense management, cardholder value, and card economics.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the expense and spend management product area for Square Credit Card, setting the multi-year vision and roadmap
- →Set key objectives for your product area, including expense management adoption, integration usage, and customer satisfaction
- →Define the product strategy and roadmap for expense and spend management features, such as automated expense categorization and receipt capture
- →Ship innovative features that unlock expense management use cases, like real-time categorization and AI-powered spending recommendations
- →Collaborate closely with other Credit Card PMs and Square teams to ensure seamless product experiences and integrated financial workflows
- →Analyze product performance and optimize unit economics of features
- →Partner with engineering, design, and other teams to build and scale your product area
- →Talk to customers regularly to understand their expense management workflows and needs
- →Operate with end-to-end ownership from concept through launch and ongoing performance
Requirements
- ✓At least 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in Credit Card, fintech, or payments industries
- ✓Curiosity, empathy, and a strong desire to engage with Square’s customers
- ✓Impeccable product intuition combined with high numeracy and a bias to data-driven action
- ✓A demonstrable track record building strategies and executing on a roadmap to grow product adoption and usage
- ✓Standout cross-functional collaboration, especially with design and engineering
- ✓Clear written and verbal communication skills
- ✓An understanding of payments rails, card networks, risk, and fraud is a bonus
