About the Role
We are looking for a Reconditioning Manager to join Carvana's Inspection Center team. This supervisory role oversees daily operations and manages a team of leads and associates in a lean manufacturing environment focused on vehicle reconditioning.
Key Responsibilities
- →Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center
- →Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports
- →Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company goals
- →Ensure adherence to operating standards and performance metrics
- →Create a positive team environment that follows Carvana's Values
- →Maintain adequate production capacity levels and assist with planning
- →Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
- →Provide vision and guidance to meet performance metrics
- →Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- ✓5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing
- ✓Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- ✓Experience leading and developing associates
- ✓Proven ability to meet project deliverables and company metrics
- ✓Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- ✓Strong analysis and decision-making ability
- ✓Proficient computer skills
- ✓Ability to work overtime and weekends
- ✓Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- ✓Valid unrestricted driver’s license with clean record
- ✓Must be at least 18 years of age
