About the Role
We are looking for a Lead VFX Artist to join the CD PROJEKT RED team dedicated to crafting the studio’s first-ever original IP and video game, codenamed Project Hadar. This role will play a key role in shaping the visual identity and future of Project Hadar.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and foster a strong VFX team, leading R&D development projects.
- →Design efficient pipelines and collaborate with other teams.
- →Recruit, lead, mentor, and guide VFX artists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- →Develop and optimize VFX workflows.
- →Prototype, research, and integrate particle effects for our game in Unreal Engine 5.
- →Collaborate with multiple disciplines to support gameplay, characters, cinematics, and environments with VFX requirements.
- →Work with directors and Production to craft project vision and estimate workloads.
- →Research new and innovative workflows, pushing what is possible in VFX.
- →Ensure VFX content is performant and within budgets.
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience as a Lead VFX Artist or similar role.
- ✓Strong understanding of VFX workflows and pipelines.
- ✓Expertise in Unreal Engine 5 and particle effects.
- ✓Ability to lead, mentor, and guide VFX artists.
- ✓Experience collaborating with multiple disciplines in game development.
