About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Animator to join our team at CD PROJEKT RED, working on Project Hadar, a new IP following the success of The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a universe from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- →Ensure animations look and feel great while playing the game
- →Take responsibility for animation-related aspects of the game
- →Work effectively with cross-discipline teams to create gameplay experiences
- →Collaborate closely with Animation Lead and Gameplay Design Team
- →Take ownership over key gameplay animation features
- →Work on previz animations in Maya/Motionbuilder
- →Build and test animation pipeline in DCC tools and Unreal Engine 5
- →Create high-quality gameplay animation assets
- →Deliver work according to artistic direction
- →Provide solutions for everyday problems
- →Share experience and help team members
Requirements
- ✓Experience with animation tools including Maya and Motionbuilder
- ✓Knowledge of DCC tools and Unreal Engine 5
- ✓Ability to create high-quality gameplay animation assets
- ✓Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills
- ✓Ability to mentor and support team members
