About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team at CI&T. This role involves working on a challenging project for one of Brazil's largest digital banks, focusing on the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from feature conception to maintenance and continuous improvement
- →Work with object-oriented programming languages, particularly Java and Kotlin
- →Implement microservices architecture
- →Follow agile practices like SCRUM or KANBAN
- →Solve technical problems including bugs and incidents
- →Write unit, functional, and performance tests
- →Instrument applications for performance monitoring, logging, and metrics
Requirements
- ✓Proficiency in Java and Kotlin
- ✓Experience with microservices architecture
- ✓Knowledge of software development best practices (TDD, DDD, Clean Code, Hexagonal Architecture)• Familiarity with agile frameworks like SCRUM or KANBAN
- ✓Experience with SQL databases
- ✓Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols
- ✓Proficiency with GIT and Git Flow
- ✓Strong communication and teamwork skills
- ✓Ability to follow client-defined policies and processes
