About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and work on the modernization of a large-scale messaging platform for a global leader in the aviation industry. This role focuses on ensuring and evolving the quality of multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and implement a test strategy aligned with the Test Pyramid principles
- →Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for backend services
- →Ensure high-quality standards through test planning, test case creation, and execution
- →Work in a DevOps-oriented environment, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- →Collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and define test scenarios
- →Monitor and analyze test results, tracking quality metrics and software coverage evolution
- →Support and mentor junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality within the team
Requirements
- ✓Deep understanding of the Test Pyramid and ability to apply it effectively
- ✓Solid experience in test planning strategies and writing test cases/scenarios
- ✓Strong test automation experience, especially for backend services
- ✓Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
- ✓Experience working in a mature DevOps environment with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- ✓Ability to collaborate directly with clients, gathering business requirements and defining testing strategies
- ✓Willingness to work with different technologies and continuously learn
- ✓Strong communication skills, including advanced English proficiency
