About the Role

CIC is looking for a Design Lead to join their in-house Design Team. This role involves creating engaging and creative spaces for communities, focusing on commercial interior design and design management.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead multiple projects of varying levels with different timelines and locations across the globe
→Perform site analysis, including surveying existing conditions and obtaining field measurements
→Meet with external parties to gather objectives and vision for new projects
→Produce plans, elevations, details, and other design documents
→Provide color/finish/material research and use presentation materials to sell design vision
→Coordinate with consultants to ensure compliance with local code requirements
→Provide project coordination for finished plans, specifications, and material selections
→Provide construction administration services for projects
→Research and participate in FF+E selection, creation of specifications, and procurement
→Act as design liaison between internal and external teams
→Coordinate with consultants related to various technical aspects

Requirements

✓Minimum 5 years experience in design or architecture, preferably with commercial projects
✓Fluency in AutoCad, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Bluebeam, Sketchup, and rendering software
✓Degree in interior design or architecture
✓Ability to effectively produce layouts and space plans
✓Advanced knowledge of furnishings, materials, and unique fixtures
✓Strong 3D modeling, graphic design, and presentation skills
✓Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
✓Ability to participate in business meetings outside of normal business hours
