About the Role
The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Contract Compliance Specialist to support the Property Management Department in procurement, contract management, and vendor compliance oversight. This role contributes to the City’s strategic goals by ensuring adherence to contract terms and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Supervise staff, assign work, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with policies
- →Collaborate with the Legal department to develop and improve agreements and policies
- →Draft and revise specifications for goods, services, contracts, and purchase orders
- →Develop and manage contract tracking databases and filing systems
- →Review financial records, analyze expenditures, and maintain payment requests
- →Compile and analyze audit data, report discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions
- →Serve as a Departmental Liaison to ensure contract terms meet operational needs
- →Conduct site visits to audit compliance and recommend actions
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- ✓Three years of experience in contract preparation and monitoring
- ✓Valid Texas driver’s license
- ✓Understanding of governmental procurement procedures (preferred)
- ✓Specialized Certification in Purchasing, Contract, or Procurement (preferred)
- ✓Analytical and project management skills (preferred)
