About the Role
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join CookUnity, a platform connecting chefs with customers for ready-to-eat meals. This role focuses on providing a best-in-class experience to eaters and chefs while managing daily operations in the New York market.
Key Responsibilities
- βMonitor real-time operations to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- βAddress and resolve operational issues promptly to avoid disruptions
- βEnsure compliance with key performance indicators
- βAct as the first escalation point for on-ground teams
- βManage labor scheduling and ensure team alignment on daily objectives
- βSupervise and support team members during operational hours
- βEnsure optimal staffing during peak and off-peak hours
- βTrack and analyze performance metrics during shifts
- βPrepare end-of-shift reports summarizing activities, issues, and resolutions
- βMaintain clear communication with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- βBilingual (English & Spanish Fluency)
- βExperience in cold storage, operations, logistics, or a similar role
- βStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
- βExcellent communication and leadership abilities
- βBachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field preferred
- βAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- βProficiency in relevant tools and software
