About the Role
We are looking for an Account Manager to join Datatonic, Google Cloud's premier partner in AI, driving transformation for world-class businesses. This role focuses on balancing the growth of new business opportunities with the expansion and development of existing accounts in the insurance vertical.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own a significant part of the sales strategy and its execution
- →Build strong sales processes and oversee pipelines from qualification to close
- →Manage day-to-day sales operations and contribute to revenue growth
- →Familiarize yourself with the business model and confidently speak about data and analytics with prospective clients
- →Take proactive leadership of your territory by understanding the market and developing and executing on a strategy that fits
- →Work with colleagues to successfully identify opportunities for renewals and upsells with existing clients
- →Maintain CRM/sales tool with up-to-date information
- →Work with the team to create strong sales collateral
- →Demonstrate self-direction and manage simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
Requirements
- ✓At least 5 years of insurance enterprise (IT) sales or consulting experience in a fast-paced client facing and results oriented environment
- ✓A clear understanding of how insurance organisations make decisions related to data, analytics, and AI, & how to influence them
- ✓Ability to be a thought leader and thought partner to our clients, discussing the latest trends in data, analytics, and AI related to insurance
- ✓Ability to communicate and influence all levels of stakeholders across functions
- ✓Ability to lead and motivate others
- ✓Consultative ‘listen-first’ approach and understanding of what motivates people & tailor your messaging accordingly
- ✓Exceptional people skills, builds rapport easily.
