About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the IT team at Elastic, the Search AI Company. This role involves driving significant IT programs through data-driven decision-making, partnering with business leaders, and proposing features that enhance the Elastician experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the IT Transformation Office by contributing to high-visibility initiatives and strategic priorities.
- →Formulate data-driven recommendations and prepare professional presentations and documents.
- →Conduct comprehensive data analysis to produce business requirement documents and process mappings.
- →Provide domain expertise on current processes and challenges to identify gaps and opportunities.
- →Plan and lead workshops for team alignment and gap analysis.
- →Develop and maintain meticulous documentation, including use cases and process flowcharts.
- →Manage multiple projects concurrently within the broader program.
- →Create project test plans and validate that proposed solutions meet business requirements.
- →Develop and implement processes across all IT functions.
- →Collaborate effectively across groups and levels within the organization.
- →Maintain regular communication with partners to ensure shared understanding of project goals.
Requirements
- ✓3-5 years of experience in a business analyst or similar role
- ✓Strong knowledge of business process analysis, requirements gathering, and system documentation
- ✓Adept at identifying technical faults and driving improvements
- ✓BS or BA preferred, or equivalent experience
- ✓Project Management experience
- ✓Experience with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
- ✓Strong problem-solving and analytical/critical thinking skills
- ✓Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Versatility and flexibility to work within evolving priorities
- ✓Good interpersonal and team-building skills
- ✓Ability to work independently
