About the Role

ERG is seeking a Business Development Lead to join the Facilities Planning and Engineering Team. This role has a dual focus on driving Navy-related business growth and providing program management leadership. The position involves leading all phases of business development while potentially serving as Program Manager on contracts.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead and support business development efforts primarily for U.S. Navy opportunities
→Provide oversight and participation in marketing meetings with prospective clients and teaming partners
→Develop and maintain strong relationships with Navy stakeholders, program managers, and industry partners
→Identify, qualify, and track new business opportunities aligned with ERG's strategic priorities
→Lead proposal planning and strategy including win themes, teaming strategies, and competitive analysis
→Oversee preparation of proposals including outlines, capabilities matrices, and technical content
→Track business development activities and maintain accurate records
→May serve as Program Manager on contracts providing oversight of scope, schedule, and budget

Requirements

✓Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience with at least 10 years in business development
✓Experience leading proposal efforts for federal government contracts
✓Proven ability to develop and maintain client and partner relationships
✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
✓Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively
✓Must be within driving distance of Washington, DC metro area
✓Must hold or be able to obtain Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
✓Must be a U.S. citizen
