About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to join Esri and help shape the future of products, technologies, and workflows that connect customers with world-class imagery and remote sensing capabilities. This role involves designing, developing, documenting, and delivering Esri technologies for customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- →Organize and share customer requirements and priorities with the development team
- →Communicate the product roadmap and release timelines to stakeholders
- →Lead and support customer product briefings and gather requirements
- →Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- →Work closely with development/engineering professionals to meet market requirements
- →Represent Esri imagery and remote sensing capabilities as the product expert
- →Collaborate with Global Business Development, Partners, Distributors, and Industry
- →Work with Product Marketing to craft messaging for ArcGIS products
- →Ensure internal launch readiness for product updates
- →Establish a feedback loop with various teams to ensure product offerings meet customer needs
- →Contribute to customer-facing resources related to Imagery products
- →Track and analyze key business KPI metrics
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience in a product role
- ✓Understand current methods and emerging technologies in imagery and remote sensing
- ✓Experience in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data
- ✓Ability to identify improved product features and contribute to marketing strategies
- ✓Proficiency in compiling project status, risk management, and marketing reports
- ✓Ability to maintain strong customer relations and provide product support
- ✓Competency in training sales teams on new product features
- ✓Ability to work well with remote management and staff
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- ✓Self-motivated, organized, creative, and team oriented
- ✓Requirement for travel 10-20% for strategic meetings, events, and/or tradeshows
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or in business
