FanDuel is looking for a Product Designer to join our Casino UX&D team. In this role, youβll help shape end-to-end product experiences by partnering closely with product, engineering, research, and data to design intuitive, visually engaging, and high-performing experiences. Youβll work across discovery, concepting, and executionβsolving complex interaction problems, experimenting with AI-enabled design workflows, and rapidly iterating based on user insights and performance data. This role is ideal for a designer operating at a senior level of impact who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

In this role, you will focus on the following:
Design Excellence
β’ Apply modern UI patterns, responsive design techniques, and component-driven practices across Web, iOS and Android platforms.
β’ Deliver visually polished, user-centered designs with a high bar for craft, quality and consistency.
β’ Demonstrate strong graphic design fundamentals including layout, typography, color, iconography, and illustration with pixel-perfect, high-fidelity execution and exceptional attention to detail.
β’ Design within established brand guidelines, design systems, and accessibility standards.
AI Design Practice
β’ Actively using AI as part of your design process, from ideation through delivery, to work efficiently and more creatively.
β’ Contribute ideas on how AI can enhance both player experiences and internal design workflows.
β’ Utilize Experience using tools such as Cursor and/or Figma Make to enhance and drive ideation through AI tooling.
User Research & Insights
β’ Leverage qualitative and quantitative research methods (usability tests, interviews, analytics, competitive analysis) to inform design decisions.
β’ Translate insights into clear design requirements and validate solutions through testing or experimentation.
Prototyping & Interaction Design
β’ Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs for cross-platform experiences.
β’ Build interactive prototypes to communicate interactions and support user testing and engineering handoffs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
β’ Partner closely with product managers, engineers, analysts, and UX researchers through discovery and delivery.
β’ Contribute to requirement shaping, design critiques, sprint rituals, and cross-functional alignment.
Iterative Design & Continuous Improvement
β’ Refine designs using data, feedback, usability insights, and experimentation results.
β’ Clearly document decisions, articulate trade-offs, and evolve solutions over time.
Design Advocacy & Culture
β’ Promote user-centered and responsible gaming design best practices.
β’ Support the evolution of design systems and contribute to a strong, inclusive, and collaborative design culture.
Industry & Domain Experience
β’ Bring experience and perspective from the gaming industry, entertainment, or similar digital products.
β’ Apply domain knowledge to influence design decisions, elevate quality, and anticipate user expectations.
Motion Design & Animation (Bonus)
β’ Create purposeful animations and micro-interactions that enhance clarity, responsiveness, and delight.
β’ Use motion thoughtfully to reinforce brand, communicate system feedback, and improve comprehension.
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
β’ Experience: 3-5 years in product design, Product Design, or a related role.
β’ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or equivalent design tools; familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Principle, After Effects) is a plus.
β’ Experience and knowledge in both designing for iOS platforms and responsive web experiences (A must have)
β’ Visual Design: Strong foundation in layout, typography, and color theory.
β’ Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for improvements and the drive to create industry leading iGaming experiences
β’ User Research: Experience conducting usability studies and analyzing qualitative/quantitative data.
β’ Communication: Excellent storytelling, collaboration, and communication skills
β’ Problem-Solving: Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
β’ Experience using AI and relevant tooling to assist and enhance your ideation and working process
Bonus Points

The applicable salary range for this position is $94,000 - $117,500 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
