About the Role
The company is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team, responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure supporting critical customer-facing applications across global datacenters and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Monitor network performance and respond to alerts and incidents
- →Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues through resolution
- →Implement configuration changes using established change control processes
- →Install, configure, rack, and cable network and server equipment
- →Support datacenter and facilities provisioning, including power and cabling
- →Assist with network provisioning such as IP assignments and circuit turn-ups
- →Support security policy enforcement using multi-vendor solutions
- →Maintain operational documentation and procedures
- →Participate in weekly maintenance windows (Tuesdays at 3:00 AM ET)
- →Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
- →Travel to datacenters as needed
Requirements
- ✓2–3 years of experience with networking fundamentals and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- ✓Experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS or NX-OS
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- ✓Ability to work onsite at datacenters and the Philadelphia, PA office as needed
- ✓Strong communication skills and a desire to learn in a production environment
