About the Role
GuidePoint Security is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their team. This role involves proactively networking, cold calling, and selling to multiple contacts within organizations, including C-level executives. The ideal candidate will manage and develop customer relationships while providing a consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
- βConsistently meet sales and profitability goals
- βPosition, configure, and quote product and service solutions to clients
- βManage leads and opportunities through Salesforce and other CRM tools
- βAccurately report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels
- βParticipate in creation, editing, and closure of service proposals
- βWork with GuidePoint Security vendors to understand and position their technologies
- βRepresent GuidePoint Consultants to clients and articulate areas of expertise
- βProfessionally develop and present sales presentations to large groups and executive clients
Requirements
- βMinimum 7 years outside sales experience in the IT space
- βCurrent enterprise security space experience preferred
- βStrong, established relationships with key accounts in the territory
- βExperience with Salesforce.com
- βStrong group presentation skills
- βVerifiable history of exceeding sales goals and generating leads
- βDemonstrated ability of lead generation and opening new accounts
- βBachelors degree preferred
- βNetwork security vendor related certifications strongly preferred
