About the Role
We are looking for a Mobile Full Stack Engineer to join Harmattan AI, a next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems. This role involves designing and developing our cross-platform command-and-control mobile app, which operators use to plan, monitor, and control autonomous missions in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build intuitive, real-time mobile operator dashboards for command & control.
- →Develop cross-platform (Android/Embedded Linux) interfaces optimized for ruggedized Android hardware.
- →Integrate mobile front-end with backend APIs for telemetry, mission planning, and AI systems.
- →Collaborate with UX and backend teams to implement a unified design system.
- →Ensure reliability, security, and offline performance under field conditions.
Requirements
- ✓Education: B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- ✓Experience: 5-8 years’ experience in mobile software engineering. Experience integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and real-time data.
- ✓Technical Skills: Proficiency with Flutter or React Native and cross-platform UI design.
- ✓Mindset: Strong understanding of performance optimization and secure code practices.
- ✓Clearance: Eligible for U.S. DoD security clearance (Secret level or above preferred).
