About the Role
The Paralegal will work with the Deputy General Counsel on various legal projects, including integration administration, general legal and compliance work, and other legal tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Draft, edit, and redline internal governance documents and other legal documents related to day-to-day operations and business acquisitions
- →Compile and update templates to assist with the acquisition of businesses
- →Assist in administration functions related to the integration of acquisitions
- →Compose and prepare correspondence as needed
- →Assist with Finance, Tax and Mergers and Acquisition functions
- →Collect and maintain documents related to acquisitions
- →Maintain corporate record books
- →Organize and maintain legal files
- →Perform other projects or duties as assigned, some of which will be finance and accounting-related
Requirements
- ✓Experience in legal document preparation and management
- ✓Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance
- ✓Ability to assist with Mergers and Acquisitions processes
- ✓Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- ✓Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
