About the Role

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Store Operations Manager for their Grand Rapids location. This role focuses on leading store operations, developing staff, and driving sales performance in a fast-growing bakery and delivery company.

Key Responsibilities

→Hire, coach, and develop part-time hourly staff including Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, and Delivery Drivers
→Lead service components including food quality, customer service, employee friendliness, and store cleanliness
→Establish a culture of excellence prioritizing cookie quality, customer service, and sales performance
→Manage and audit inventory to maintain proper controls
→Create and execute fun, local marketing drops
→Create and drive in-store recognition programs and contests

Requirements

✓3+ years of management/leadership experience in restaurant or retail
✓Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts Thursday through Sunday
✓Benevolent leadership style with player-coach mentality
✓Innate sense of hospitality and ability to deliver exceptional customer service
✓Technical acumen with restaurant/retail software, MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams, and Applicant Tracking Systems
✓Familiarity with commercial convection ovens is a plus
