About the Role

The Business Systems team at Instacart is seeking a Salesforce Product Owner to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role will drive clarity of business needs and ensure the platform delivers measurable business value across Sales, Support, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

→Own the Salesforce product vision and roadmap, defining and evolving the multi-quarter strategy for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
→Drive disciplined intake and discovery, shaping clear problem statements and translating business needs into outcome-based requirements.
→Lead stakeholder alignment and prioritization, facilitating trade-off discussions across Sales, Support, Operations, and Finance.
→Strengthen platform governance, ensuring new features align with scalability and long-term platform integrity.
→Validate business impact by defining success metrics and partnering with Operations and Analytics to evaluate adoption and performance.

Requirements

✓8+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Systems leadership.
✓5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud), with strong knowledge of platform capabilities and limitations.
✓Proven ability to define product vision and drive enterprise alignment, influencing senior stakeholders across various departments.
✓Deep experience translating ambiguous business problems into clear, outcome-based requirements and structured intake processes.
✓Strong track record of working closely with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Architects in Agile environments.
