About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team at Keyloop. This role involves managing, monitoring, and supporting Oracle databases in production environments, with a focus on performance tuning, backup & recovery, and high availability solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c)
- →Administer Oracle Multitenant environments (Creation, cloning, plugging/unplugging of PDBs, Managing CDB and PDB lifecycle, patching, and upgrades)
- →Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- →Manage backup and recovery using RMAN
- →Implement and support High Availability & DR solutions (RAC, Data Guard)
- →Handle database patching, PSU/CPU updates, and version upgrades
- →Troubleshoot database issues and provide 24x7 production support
- →Monitor and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and execution plans
- →Manage database security: users, roles, privileges, auditing
- →Perform routine DBA activities: space management, tablespace management
- →Work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams
- →Prepare and maintain DB documentation and SOPs
- →Participate in on-call support and incident management
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB) architecture
- ✓Expertise in Oracle 11g/12c/19c or higher
- ✓Hands-on experience with RMAN, Data Guard, and RAC
- ✓Strong SQL & PL/SQL knowledge
- ✓Experience in Linux/Unix environments
- ✓Experience in monitoring of OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager)
- ✓Experience with database migration and refresh activities (Migration from on-premises to AWS EC2 Instance)
