About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer to join Lyrebird Health in the UK. This role involves leading technical delivery and working closely with early UK customers to deploy, customize, and optimize Lyrebird’s platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead forward deployment and customer delivery work
- →Work directly with early UK customers to deploy, customize, and optimize Lyrebird’s platform
- →Translate customer needs into pragmatic technical solutions
- →Own integrations, configuration, and implementation quality end-to-end
- →Build and ship products across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- →Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and the Australian engineering team
- →Establish best practices around delivery, testing, and deployment
- →Mentor future UK engineers and help shape the local team
Requirements
- ✓5 years + experience
- ✓Strong startup experience (early or growth stage preferred)
- ✓Prior team leadership or team-building experience
- ✓Comfortable owning projects from problem definition through to production
- ✓Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders or customers
- ✓Strong across most of the following tech stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, Terraform, GitHub, LangChain, LangFuse, LangSmith
- ✓Bonus skills: Python (particularly for ML or data pipelines), CI/CD pipelines, broader DevOps exposure
