About the Role

Mandrel is seeking an entrepreneurial Events & Community Lead to build and own the company's real-world presence. This role will focus on creating meaningful connections through events and community building in the consumer brands space.

Key Responsibilities

→Own Mandrel’s event strategy across conferences, trade shows, customer dinners, roundtables, and operator gatherings
→Plan and execute end-to-end logistics including budgeting, venues, vendors, travel, and post-event follow-ups
→Create community moments that spotlight consumer brands through panels, dinners, fireside chats, and meetups
→Partner with leadership to drive pipeline, relationships, and brand awareness
→Build a scalable IRL playbook as Mandrel grows
→Serve as a visible ambassador for Mandrel in the consumer brand space

Requirements

✓1+ years experience in events, marketing, partnerships, community, or go-to-market roles with consumer brands
✓Experience organizing executive gatherings, event partnerships, and trade show booths
✓Comfortable reporting on leads and helping generate meetings with attendees
✓Strong communicator who’s highly organized and execution-oriented
✓Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership
✓Based in or willing to relocate to NYC (5-day week in-person role in Midtown Manhattan)
✓Willing to travel (~25%) for conferences and events
