About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex Business Support Systems (BSS) transformation and delivery programs within a telecommunications environment. This role is responsible for end-to-end management of large-scale BSS initiatives, including billing, CRM, product catalog, order management, charging, customer lifecycle, and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead end-to-end delivery of complex telecom BSS programs from initiation to go-live and hypercare
- →Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks across multiple workstreams
- →Act as the primary interface between business, IT, vendors, and system integrators
- →Oversee delivery of billing, CRM, order management, product catalog, and charging solutions
- →Establish and run project governance, executive reporting, and steering committees
- →Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and issues
- →Ensure quality through UAT, cutover planning, and production readiness
- →Drive vendor performance and contractual milestone delivery
- →Support Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models as required
Requirements
- ✓8–12+ years of project management experience in telecommunications
- ✓5+ years delivering large-scale BSS programs
- ✓Proven experience managing system integrators and offshore delivery teams
- ✓Track record of successful billing or CRM transformations is highly preferred
- ✓Strong understanding of telecom BSS architectures and integrations
- ✓Experience with leading BSS platforms (e.g. Amdocs, Netcracker, Ericsson, Oracle, Salesforce, Zuora, etc.)
- ✓Familiarity with OSS/BSS integration points and APIs
- ✓Knowledge of data migration, legacy decommissioning, and cutover planning
- ✓Expert in project planning, financial control, RAID management, and reporting
- ✓Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
- ✓Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
- ✓A degree in a related field
