About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join Newsela’s Sales organization. This role focuses on supporting aggressive growth by researching, prospecting, and qualifying leads to build pipeline for Sales Reps.
Key Responsibilities
- →Respond to inbound inquiries and conduct proactive cold outreach to potential new customers
- →Provide online product demonstrations that draw prospects into initial discovery calls
- →Identify key needs that lead to qualified opportunities for our Sales team
- →Collaborate within the Sales organization to inform strategy and process that enhances sales performance
Requirements
- ✓1+ year of lead generation or inside sales experience
- ✓Pipeline generation experience through email and phone conversations
- ✓Salesforce.com experience and sales process training
- ✓Familiarity with sales platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach.io, or Yesware
- ✓Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize with buyers
- ✓Ability to establish clear value propositions connecting buyer/user needs to products and services
- ✓Thrive in a fast-paced environment and use creativity when partnering with team members
