About the Role
Nom Nom is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and execute our retail expansion strategy. This role will work closely with the VP Sales Operations to drive sales growth and manage key retail partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- →Execute the sales growth strategy in partnership with the VP Sales Operations
- →Manage direct relationships with key retail partners including PetSmart, Chewy, and Amazon
- →Identify and develop distribution in new channels such as grocery, mass, and pet specialty
- →Build strong customer partnerships and open new retail accounts
- →Lead forecasting, planning, and analysis for assigned accounts
- →Develop and maintain account-level scorecards and performance reviews
- →Implement MAP policies and trade promotions
- →Monitor market trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- →Develop medium- to long-range sales plans
- →Align brand messaging with the CMO and marketing team
- →Travel as needed to maintain customer relationships and attend trade shows
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience building or scaling a sales function within a CPG environment
- ✓Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on operator experience
- ✓5-8+ years of experience in customer development, sales, or account management
- ✓Pet, frozen, or similar CPG experience preferred
- ✓Strong retailer relationship management experience
- ✓Sales-savvy and analytically capable with a data-driven mindset
- ✓Comfortable with ambiguity and highly accountable
- ✓Relationship-oriented and trusted as a right-hand partner to senior leadership
