About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Sales team leader to join our Japan Sales team. This person will play an integral role in helping lead our growth efforts across Japan. As an early leader of the team, you'll be instrumental in helping define our sales motion, shape our future product, and drive business revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- →Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Executives
- →Drive team capability building across strategic account planning, discovery, executive engagement, and deal execution
- →Own revenue outcomes for your team's territory, including revenue generation, retention, and accurate forecasting
- →Execute strategic account plans for Japan's largest enterprise customers
- →Engage directly with C-level executives from target accounts to build relationships
- →Implement and refine sales processes for land and expand motions specific to the Japanese enterprise market
- →Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive sales motion and ensure seamless customer experiences
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of full cycle sales experience at a fast-growing software, SaaS, or AI company
- ✓3+ years sales management or team leader experience
- ✓Deep understanding of PLG and SLG sales motions
- ✓Proven track record in the Enterprise segment (3,000+ employee companies)
- ✓Strong account planning and executive engagement skills
- ✓Passion for coaching and rep development
- ✓Demonstrated ability to lead teams to exceed quotas consistently
- ✓Experience working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- ✓Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- ✓Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills
- ✓Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- ✓Fluency in Japanese (native level) and English (business level)
