About the Role
As a People Operations Generalist at Notion, you'll be the backbone of employee experience, managing critical touchpoints from onboarding to offboarding. You'll ensure smooth processes and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support new hire onboarding by managing HRIS setup, background checks, and verifications
- →Process terminations and manage offboarding logistics with cross-functional teams
- →Act as the initial point of contact for employee questions through the People Operations ticketing system
- →Manage day-to-day transactions in our HRIS
- →Partner with Recruiting, Legal, Finance, People Partners, and IT on People Operations matters
- →Maintain compliance with SOC2 standards and support regular audits
- →Process onboarding, extensions, and offboardings for contingent workers
- →Lead ad-hoc projects to improve processes and operations
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar role in a fast-paced company
- ✓Strong working knowledge of Workday (HCM) and experience with multiple People tools and systems
- ✓Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive employee data
- ✓Service-oriented mindset with strong triage and prioritization skills
- ✓Effective cross-functional collaboration skills
- ✓Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- ✓Willingness to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
