About the Role
We are looking for a Chief of Staff to join Oscar Health, a health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform. You will drive the economic flywheel for the Insurance and Operations business, partnering with leaders across the company to solve complex problems and orchestrate operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Shape multi-year department strategy in partnership with the leadership team
- →Drive departmental efficiencies through process improvements and workforce optimization initiatives
- →Facilitate and provide leadership on cross-functional processes to drive efficiency
- →Prioritize competing initiatives and projects, creating decision-making frameworks
- →Serve as a proxy for leadership as needed, attending meetings and calls
- →Drive various department-wide forums, owning agendas and ensuring smooth running
- →Manage preparation for and execution of governance meetings
- →Partner with the People Team to drive staff talent development and organization structure
- →Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree or commensurate 4 years of experience
- ✓10+ years experience, with 5+ in healthcare consulting or a strategic role in healthcare
- ✓5+ years experience collaborating and influencing at the executive level
- ✓5+ years experience defining and deploying strategies at the company level
